Q. Where do you ship?
A. We ship our supplies and equipment all over the United States. For shipping to any other country; please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. We accept cashier checks, money orders, wire transfers, and credit cards such as American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa. For wire transfers, money orders, and cashier checks, please contact Customer Service, or e-mail us at email@example.com.
Q. How long will it take to receive my order?
A. All orders are shipped within 24-48 business hours. We will do our best to ship orders on the same day, if orders are placed before our cut off time of 1:30pm PST, all other orders will ship out the next day. It usually takes 2 - 5 business days nationwide to receive your order via UPS ground or other carriers available to GotTinta.com. Please see our Shipping Information section for more details.
Q. What if I accidentally placed a duplicate order?
A. Please contact Customer Service immediately, or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org before 1:30pm (Pacific Standard Time). Please provide us with your company, contact name, address, and order number to expedite the process. Customer will be resposible to pay the shipping back and forth to rectify the situation if it's not our mistake.
Q. How do I find a product?
A. You can use our "Quick search" feature by selecting the brand name, followed by printer model, then printer model number, or browse by "Product Brands" on the left side of the navigation bar.
Search Feature: You can search by typing the "Product Name" (e.g. HP 10), Part No. (Original Part No. like C4800A), or any other relevant keyword.
Although our web database is continually updated, if you are still unable to find the item, please Contact Us, or e-mail at email@example.com, we will help you find the product(s).
Q. Is my payment information secure?
A. GotTinta uses Paypal for all payment information (credit card numbers and expiration date etc.). GotTinta has also been approved by Verisign server as a trusted store, customers can confidently buy through our site. Please see our Credit Card Security information at our help center.
Q. How do I track my order?
A. You will receive the tracking number once it has been shipped, if otherwise you can request by sending e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org (provide your Order#, Company or individual name, and phone number). Please visit "Track Order" page for more details, or you may also Contact Us to get your tracking information.
Q. Do I have to become a member to buy?
A. No, it is not necessary to become a member to buy.
Q. What if I ordered the wrong products or if I would like to cancel the orders?

Q. What does Original mean?
A. Original means original/genuine products from the manufacturer. Sometimes when you look at other websites related to ink, you would see OEM which stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer.
Q. What is a compatible cartridge?
A. Compatible (Generic) inkjet and toner cartridges are manufactured by third-parties to meet or exceed Original inkjet and toner cartridges. Brand new compatible cartridges are equivalent to Original products since they are manufactured based on the same specifications, including same print out capacity. Compatible cartridges are much cheaper than Originals, but the quality performs similar to the Originals.
Q. What is a remanufactured cartridge?
A. Remanufactured (Refurbished) cartridges are recycled from Originals to meet Original standards. It is usually for Fax and Printer Machines. The process involves collecting empty cartridges, disassembling, reusing or replacing parts, cleaning parts, filling with new ink or toner, and final testing before packaging. Due to the comprehensive procedure, remanufactured cartridges are more expensive than brand new compatible cartridges. Some brands, such as Canon, Brother, HP, and Dell only provide remanufactured inkjet and toner cartridges. Once the remanufacturing process is complete, the cartridge is then print tested, sealed, and packaged for resale. Remanufactured and compatible cartridges are very similar. The difference is that remanufactured cartridge uses mostly Original parts, but compatibles use about 0% to 40% Original parts.
Q. Will using a compatible or remanufactured cartridge void my warranty?
A. In most cases no. But you are encouraged to check with your printer manufacturer. Using a compatible or remanufactured cartridge will not void the manufacturer's warranty. It is illegal for the manufacturer to prevent you from using toner cartridges from other sources than the original manufacturer.
Q. Do compatible or remanufactured cartridges last as long their Original counterpart?
A. All of our compatible or remanufactured cartridges are manufactured according to Original specification, and will equal the same page yield as their Original counterpart.

Q. What brand are these products and who is the manufacturer?
A. The compatibles and remanufactures are of various brands and some are even unbranded in white or brown boxes. They are manufactured by various manufacturers but in all cases GotTinta.com ensures that they are from manufacturers who are ISO9001 certified or carry similar industry standard certifications like SMTC etc.
Q. The original cartridge that I use, has a chip. Do your compatibles or remanufactures have a chip in them or do I have to reset the machine or deal with error messages?
A. GotTinta features only those compatibles or remanufactures that are 100% identical to the original product. Which means that in case of products that need a chip, the compatible or remanufacture product will have the same chip. You will not have to deal with chip resetting etc.
Q. What is the average shelf life of a Copier Toner Cartridge?
A. Eighteen (18) months if the cartridge is stored in a cool, dry place.
Q. My remanufactured cartridge appears bigger than the Original or the one I have?
A. Some of our remanufactured cartridges come with guards to prevent shipping damage. The guard will be either black or green. Simply remove it and insert the cartridge into your machine.
